This version is obsolete and is no more under development ! I have created a new version, with the priority to run with XMame http://x.mame.net/ Latest patches regarding the opengl display driver to this version can be optained here: http://www.jausoft.com/glmame.html The design of the new mame opengl display driver, is to support many platforms in the near future. GLMame32 Version 36rc2 OpenGL-Display-AddOn 1.3 beta1 ===================================================== Because i love this game :-), I saw the Unix/X11 OpenGL version included in Xmame ! Mike Oliphant did a nice job. Because the most OpenGL hardware accelerated drivers exist under Win32 i took the time to port this beast. (i hate this fact - oops i will check the upcoming Accelerated-X-OpenGL server for linux :-) Now it is done - almost, so just enjoy. For the Win lovers: you do not need hundrets of video-drivers, just one :-) Now it is possible to have bigger windows under Windows-NT ! GLMame32 delivers you with a beautifull filtered bitmap, which is - of course - only playable with hardware accelerated OpenGL ! I do added some improvements to the generic OpenGL driver, please check the file 'WhatsNewGL32.txt' ! Again: Thanx Mike - and the MAME32 team ! ------------ OpenGL original portion tag is taken from xmame.xgl v0.6 -- December 14th, 1998 !
